Lord Rami Ranger is a founding member of the Hindu Forum of Britain, and Chairman of the Pakistan, India & UK Friendship Forum, and the British Sikh Association. His company, Sun Mark Ltd, is the only company in the UK to have awarded 5 consecutive Queens Awards for the enterprise.
He is also the Patron of the Punjabi Society of British Isles, Combat Stress and Fellow of the Prince’s Trust. As a key supporter of youth and skills development, Rami is a member of the government's Apprenticeship Delivery Board and an Ambassador for the Food and Drinks Industry in the development of apprenticeships and job creation throughout the UK.

In 2005 he was made a Member of the British Empire and in 2016 the Commander of British Empire for his services to British Business and the Asian Community.

Rami recently chaired the first Conservative Commonwealth dinner held over the week of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Summit in London.

Member of Parliament for Maidenhead
Mrs May has served as Member of Parliament for Maidenhead since 1997 and has held several positions within Parliament since. She was a member of the Shadow Cabinet from 1999 to 2010, and from 2002 to 2003 was the first female Chairman of the Conservative Party. In 2010, she was appointed Home Secretary, a position which she held for 6 years before becoming Prime Minister. She served as Prime Minister for three years, until July 2019.

Member of Parliament for Chingford & Woodford Green
Iain was elected Member of Parliament for Chingford in 1992, and he was re-elected in 1997 as Member of Parliament for the re-drawn constituency of Chingford and Woodford Green. Iain was promoted to William Hague’s Shadow Cabinet in 1997, serving as Shadow Secretary of State for Social Security and in 1999 as the Shadow Defence Secretary. 

In 2001, Iain was elected Leader of the Conservative Party. After stepping down in 2003, he set up the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ), an independent think tank committed to tackling poverty and social breakdown. Iain worked tirelessly as Chairman of the CSJ until the 2010 General Election, when he was appointed Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. He served in this position until March 2016. Iain remains the Member of Parliament for Chingford and Woodford Green.

Zac Goldsmith was born in 1975, and grew up in Richmond where he has lived for most of his life.
He was first elected MP for Richmond Park and North Kingston in 2010 and re-elected in 2015.
He has been voted among the top MPs for engagement with his constituents, and has won numerous awards for his campaigns in Parliament.

Nusrat Ghani MP was appointed as a Government Whip on 11 July 2019. She has also been a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Transport since 9 January 2018. She was Assistant Government Whip from January 2018 to July 2019. She was elected Conservative MP for Wealden in 2015.

Member of Parliament for Richmond (Yorks)

Rishi Sunak was appointed Chief Secretary to the Treasury on 24th July 2019 in Prime Minister Boris Johnson's new Cabinet. Rishi was Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government on 9 January 2018 to 24th July 2019.

He went to Winchester College and studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University. He was also a Fulbright Scholar at Stanford University (USA) where he studied for his MBA.

He was elected Conservative MP for Richmond (Yorks) in May 2015 and served as a Parliamentary Private Secretary at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from June 2017 until his ministerial appointment.

He spent his professional career before politics in business and finance, working internationally. He co-founded an investment firm working with companies in multiple geographies. He then used that experience to help small and entrepreneurial British companies grow.

Rishi is married with two young daughters.

Member of Parliament for Reading West
Alok Sharma was elected in 2010 for Reading West, with one of the largest swings to the Conservatives in the country.   In July 2019, Alok was promoted by Prime Minister Boris Johnson to Secretary of State for International Development. He has also served the Government in 2018 as Minister of State for Employment and in 2017 as Minister of State for the Department for Communities and Local Government with responsibility for housing.
In 2016, Alok was the Prime Minister's Infrastructure Envoy to India and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. From 2012-15 he served as a Conservative Party Vice Chairman.

Tom Tugendhat was elected as Member of Parliament for Tonbridge and Malling in 2015 and was re-elected in 2017. On his return to Parliament, he was elected to be Chair of the influential Foreign Affairs Select Committee.

Shailesh was first elected to Parliament in 2005, representing the constituency of North West Cambridgeshire. He has since been re-elected to Parliament in 2010, 2015 and 2017.
Shailesh was formerly a Minister for Northern Ireland, having also previously served as a Minister for Justice, a Minister in the Department for Work and Pensions and as a Government Whip.
In Opposition, Shailesh was Shadow Deputy Leader of the House of Commons and before being appointed to the Front Bench, he was on the Select Committee for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

The result of which you see today, a dinner, in honour of the first Asian Home Secretary of State Rt. Hon’ble Sajid Javid, MP and many other Asians who are now MP’s and Ministers.
