Cllr Mina Parmar, MCIPD

Mina is a HR Director and has over 20 years’ experience in both public and corporate sectors. She is passionate about employment rights and fair representation. She operates a Consultancy Service to small and medium sized businesses. She also acts an advisor for businesses enterprises in the Third Sector.

Jay Singh-Sohal

Jagjeet “Jay” Singh-Sohal is a communications specialist with a background in journalism and filmmaking. He now runs his own consultancy business and is a volunteer with several charities and organisations.

A party member and activist since the age of 18, he is a former Chairman of Brunel Conservatives and now a Prospective Parliamentary Candidate.

Cllr. Gurjit Bains

Gurjit works across the housing, planning and development sectors on local and devolved levels - including for Taylor Wimpey, Sav Group, Imara Group, Peabody and BFI.

Prior to joining Newington, Gurjit worked for two Conservative MPs and on the EU Referendum for the Vote Leave campaign advising on outreach strategies. She has also been a Campaign Manager in two constituencies for both local and national elections and has a degree in Law from the University of Buckingham. Gurjit currently serves as a Conservative Councillor for Gravesham Borough Council and holds a Cabinet portfolio for Community Development.

Cllr. Hiten Ganatra

Graduating in 2004 from Cass Business School in London, Hiten joined PwC on their graduate programme, whilst continuing to develop the property investment business which he set up whilst in his second year at university. Hiten wanted to further his entrepreneurial ambition and so to compliment his property investment business decided to get into the financial services sector where he qualified as a mortgage consultant.

Mr Nayaz Qazi

​​​​​​​Head of Legal at Sun Mark Ltd and Special Advisor to the Chairman its Dr Rami Ranger CBE.  Deputised on the Apprenticeship Delivery Board and a Member of Apprenticeship Diversity Champions Network. Worked with leading economist and former Head of Skills development for India, Dr Narendra Jadhav MP in the area of Labour Law Compliance. Was an advisor to Mrs Salma Ansari, wife of former Vice President of India, in the widening of education to impoverished children. Between 2010-15, was a regular speaker in the UAE on key subjects to the region including capacity building, women empowerment and the Nation Agenda.

Cllr Aarien-Uday Areti

Aarien was the first Indian to be elected as a Councillor for Royal Borough Kensington and Chelsea in May 2018. An MBA graduate and CEO of Niqauo ltd which he co-founded with his friends. He was recognised as a “35 under 35 Young Leader in India-UK Relations” by India Inc. Following his representation in BRICS youth summit, he founded BRICS Europe to develop BRICS nations policies and governance.

Aarien held secretary positions during his college days and is now a fellow of Centre for Entrepreneurship. As a business secretary of UK Telugu association, he organises business and cultural events in the parliament.

Meera Sonecha

Meera read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Warwick. Following university she worked in the House of Commons for several years as Sir Edward Garnier’s Parliamentary Assistant and was the Executive Officer of Conservative Friends of India for one year. She was also on the core team of the Andy Street campaign, who is now the Mayor of the West Midlands.

Radhika Seth

Radhika Seth is the Founder & CEO of Sequoia London and Sequoia London Developments.
Her boutique studio based in Mayfair is made up of a team of highly qualified Architects, Project Coordinators and Advisors, Award Wining Interiors Designers and some the the best Sourcing teams available today.
The company offers turnkey development services in central London and interior architect, design and sourcing options anywhere in the work.

Simmy Sekhon

Simmy Sekhon is a property lawyer and a highly ambitious Property Developer operating in the Yorkshire area of the North of England.

Previously, he has operated and owned a highly successful Solicitors Practice employing over 120 people at the height of the property market prior to 2010.

Cllr Reena Ranger OBE

Co-Chairman
Reena was successfully elected as one of the three District Councillors for Moor Park & Eastbury in May 2014. She previously ran as a County Council Candidate 2013 and was a Parliamentary Candidate in the 2017 General Election. She addressed the delegates at the Conservative Party Conference in 2017 on the topic of “Fighting Injustices” and remains active within the Conservative Party.
