Rishi Sunak was appointed Chief Secretary to the Treasury on 24th July 2019 in Prime Minister Boris Johnson's new Cabinet. Rishi was Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government on 9 January 2018 to 24th July 2019.

He went to Winchester College and studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University. He was also a Fulbright Scholar at Stanford University (USA) where he studied for his MBA.

He was elected Conservative MP for Richmond (Yorks) in May 2015 and served as a Parliamentary Private Secretary at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from June 2017 until his ministerial appointment.

He spent his professional career before politics in business and finance, working internationally. He co-founded an investment firm working with companies in multiple geographies. He then used that experience to help small and entrepreneurial British companies grow.

Rishi is married with two young daughters.

Mr Tom Tugendhat MBE MP

Tom Tugendhat was elected as Member of Parliament for Tonbridge and Malling in 2015 and was re-elected in 2017. On his return to Parliament, he was elected to be Chair of the influential Foreign Affairs Select Committee.

The Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith MP

Iain was elected Member of Parliament for Chingford in 1992, and he was re-elected in 1997 as Member of Parliament for the re-drawn constituency of Chingford and Woodford Green. Iain was promoted to William Hague’s Shadow Cabinet in 1997, serving as Shadow Secretary of State for Social Security and in 1999 as the Shadow Defence Secretary. 

In 2001, Iain was elected Leader of the Conservative Party. After stepping down in 2003, he set up the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ), an independent think tank committed to tackling poverty and social breakdown. Iain worked tirelessly as Chairman of the CSJ until the 2010 General Election, when he was appointed Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. He served in this position until March 2016. Iain remains the Member of Parliament for Chingford and Woodford Green.

Cllr. Vidhi Mohan

Vidhi has been a Conservative Councillor in the London Borough of Croydon since 2005, and in 2015 stood as the Parliamentary candidate in Croydon North. For 4 years he served as a Cabinet Member in Croydon. Professionally Vidhi runs his own independent consultancy business, advising clients on the feasibility and financing of transport and infrastructure projects, focussing mainly on the international development sector.

Nusrat Ghani MP was appointed as a Government Whip on 11 July 2019. She has also been a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Transport since 9 January 2018. She was Assistant Government Whip from January 2018 to July 2019. She was elected Conservative MP for Wealden in 2015.

Due to release constraints of the film launch of PM Narendra Modi in India, we have had to postpone the CF India Parliamentary launch of the film which was scheduled on Monday the 1st April.
As soon as the release constraints are lifted we will email with the new date for the programme at Parliament.
