Following the eighth UK-India Economic and Financial Dialogue (EFD) in London, Chanellor George Osborne and Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley have reached a number of agreements concerning the future of trade and investment between the UK and India.
According to new data released today (20/01), more than half a million people in Britain found employment in the last twelve months. Employment figures are consequently at a new record high: 31.4 million Britons are now in work.
Rt. Hon. Sajid Javid, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, revealed earlier today that Britain will be awarding around 300 new scholarships during 2016-17 to Indian students who choose to study in the UK.
