Leicester Cricket Event
We are looking forward to partnering with Shivani Raja, MP for Leicester East, for our Community Cricket Cup this Bank Holiday Monday, 31st August. Join us at Rushey Field Recreation Ground from 11am to 5pmfor a fantastic day with fellow members and supporters.
Everyone will have the opportunity to join in a game of cricket, enjoy a wide range of food and drink stalls, and enter our charity raffle featuring prizes celebrating Leicester’s local entrepreneurs and small businesses.
This event is a wonderful chance for us to connect with the local community while raising vital funds for LOROS Hospice. We hope to see you there!
My Political Journey with Nusrat Ghani
We are also pleased to publicise the second session of our 'My Political Journey' series, which will be held on Tuesday 15th September from 6pm-7pm on Microsoft Teams.
We are delighted that Senior Deputy Speaker and the Chairman of Ways and Means Nusrat Ghani MP will be our special guest for this session. Nusrat is the Member of Parliament for Sussex Weald, and as the first female to represent this constituency has been a great advocate both for women and for the British Indian community in Parliament.
We thank Nusrat for giving her time so generously to join us for this session, and do hope that our members will take advantage of this opportunity to learn from somebody operating at the top of politics.

Our Conference event is always the highlight of our year, and we are extremely grateful to the Indian High Commission for sponsoring our reception again this year.
