During his speech at the CF India Annual Lunch, Prime Minster David Cameron praised the values of the Indian community as being THE values needed to fight the most important election in a generation. He said:
“There will be policies and plans that we need to put in place, but even more than that will be the values we hold dear:
•That if you work hard, you should be able to get on and build a great future for yourself and your families.
•That if you have the aspiration to start your first business, to get your first job or to own your own home; those are aspirations we want you to fulfil.
•That if you believe in service above self, that you should put things into your community to help make it stronger, to he...lp to build that big society, to help to build that better country, those are the values that we need.”
We want to ensure that these values, which we also hold dear as Conservatives, win at the next general election. Conservative Friends of India is supporting a number of our target seats in the Midlands. We are holding a final dinner in support of our PPCs and candidates so they can help keep Britain on the path of competence and away from chaos.
